My name is Lauren Laird, and I am doing my project on my brother's basketball team, the St. Gabe Grizzlies. My favorite sport is basketball, so March Madness is my favorite time of year in the sport world. Who did everyone pick for the final this year?
I have just gotten interested in college basketball after filling out my first bracket last year. I did pretty well last year, but this year I have not been as fortunate due to the amount of upsets. I picked Kentucky to win the entire tournament, who did you choose?
ReplyDeleteI picked Kentucky too Kate. That was a fail, still mad they lost to WVU. But how did the St. Gabe Grizzlies do last season Lauren?
ReplyDeleteI had Kentucky winning it all. John Wall in my mind was still the best player in college basketball this year, but he played bad one game and it may have cost him a national title.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately my bracket was just about done after the first two rounds. The parity in this years tournament was amazing. This trend will continue to grow as many schools are leveling out the talent pool. This does nothing but provide better entertainment to all the march madness fans across the country.

ReplyDeleteI picked Duke to win the whole thing and was excited to have picked the right championship team. However, the upsets in the first round made me finish in second place in my bracket competition and I didn't win over $100 dollars. I guess that's what next year is for.
ReplyDeleteI had Kentucky winning it all this year. I felt that the freshman that Kentucky had were mature enough to the lead the Wildcats to the win the crown this year. I am still shocked that Duke won.
ReplyDeleteI did not fill out a bracket this year due to lack of funds. Being a Duke Lacrosse fan, and not really interested in basketball, I guess I am happy that they won title.
